  1. Taxpayers based abroad can pay Service Tax for Cross border B2C OIDAR services provided online to clients in taxable territory from. 
  2. Section 115BBDA shall be inserted after section 115BBD by the Finance Act, 2016, w.e.f. 1- 4 -2017 i.e. tax on certain dividends received from domestic companies.
  3. Anti-avoidance tax rule to kick in as legislation against tax avoidance, GAAR, will kick in from April 1, 2017, CBDT clarified.
  4.  PAN number must for excise, service taxpayers for GST registration. The tax department has made it mandatory for central excise duty and service taxpayers to obtain a valid PAN number. 
  5. Capital market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is set to allow purchase of Mutual Fund (MF) units through e-wallets. 
  6. MCA has now come with notifications on exemptions to specified IFSC public and private companies.
